Ray is an Investor at Blue Bear, focusing on industrial optimization and applied physical AI.
Prior to Blue Bear, Ray led sourcing, diligence, and execution at Yamaha Motor Ventures and BASF Venture Capital, spanning robotics, automation, energy storage, and industrial AI. He supported portfolio companies in aligning with internal business units and identifying technologies for enterprise-scale deployment within each firm’s parent manufacturing organization.
Ray holds BS and MS degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Bucknell University and UCLA, and spent his early career as a design engineer of major transportation and energy infrastructure projects. Ray is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York.
